Ocean View Gem is a top-floor 2BR/2BA with two balconies, right across from the pool! King suite, a guest room with its own bath and a stocked kitchen for cozy get-togethers. Pool in 30 seconds, guaranteed. Out the door: a gated resort with a pool, hot tub, pool bar, tennis, pickleball, beach and marina!

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT It's right across from the pool. Swimsuit on, 30 seconds, done!

CHECKING IN Self check-in with your own door code, sent before you arrive. The front gate is staffed 24/7; just give the guard the name on the reservation and you're in! Parking for 2 vehicles is included. Boats and trailers only with a confirmed dockmaster reservation.

Ocean Pointe is a gated, 60+ acre waterfront resort in Tavernier at mile marker 92.5, smack in the middle of Key Largo and Islamorada. Best of both worlds!

Just up the road: John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, the country's first undersea park, with world-class snorkeling and diving. Just down the road: Islamorada, the Sportfishing Capital of the World, plus sandbars, waterfront restaurants and plenty of happy hours. Nearby favorites include Theater of the Sea, the History of Diving Museum, Robbie's (go feed the tarpon!), the Laura Quinn Wild Bird Sanctuary and the Turtle Hospital. Harry Harris Park, with a waterfront walk and playground, is right around the corner. Grocery stores and pharmacies are minutes away.

Good to know: the Keys are coral islands, so our beaches are cozy, not Cancún. The real magic is on the water! The closest larger public beach is Anne's Beach in Islamorada.

And don't leave without a slice of key lime pie. That's basically a house rule!

We loved our stay at this beautiful Ocean Pointe condo! The space was clean and nicely decorated. The condo had everything we needed for our week long stay. We (family of 5) loved our stay at Sean's place this past week in January, 2026. The facility had a nice pool for our kids, and we loved how quiet everything was. The unit was very clean and looked just like the pictures. Tavernier was a nice "home base" for us as we explored the Keys. We had a small issue with the entry lock upon first arriving, but Sean answered the phone immediately and was able to assist. His customer service and communication was terrific. We would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we go to the Keys.

The location, condo, bbq area & pool where great. The condo itself has a few things that need addressed. Water pressure in master bath, toliet in master not properly bolted to floor & screens need replacement. The kitchen was sparsely supplied with items & if you are staying for longer then a few days you'll need to supply your own dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels & toilet paper. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean & we loved the pool & hot tub. Would recommend to others.

We had a nice stay at the property - exactly as pictured, mostly clean and the view was fantastic. The communication with host was efficient and I appreciated the entry code sent to me way in advance of arrival. A few annoying things that need to be noted: - the resort itself is not much of a resort. It is 5 buildings, a marina, a small beach and a separate building with a restaurant. The pool and a tennis court are nice but placed in the middle of a parking lot so watch your little ones going to the pool. There are lots of feral cats and dumpster diving racoons . -the arrival emails were helpful but failed to mention that you need to hit a "home" icon on the bottom to activate the pad. Hitting anywhere else will produce an additional wrong number. -they don't provide coffee, salt and pepper or oil and you get 1 garbage bag per week and 2 rolls of tp and a tiny sample bottle of shampoo per bathroom. -old 90s faucet in the second bathroom is hard to pull for kids -the bed creaks

Sean went above and beyond to accomodate our late, short trip. VERY accomodating to our schedule. Loved the pool, the quiet, no traffic noise, just overall peaceful stay. We've stayed at Ocean Pointe many times before, and will continue. The only thing negative I have to say about the buildings/layout is the postage stamp size balconies.
